Energy Work involves the channelling of healing energies through the hands into a persons body or energy field. There are different forms and schools of energy healing training, though one may have the ability to channel healing energies without formal education or attunements. The two forms of energy work that Love Light Healing Center offers courses and treatments with are Reiki and CHIOS Energy Field Healing.

Reiki: Is one of the more popular forms of Energy Work. "Reiki" stands for Universal Life Force Energy or "Chi". One comes to work with Reiki energy through receiving attunements that open channels that allow the life force energy to flow through the hands. Reiki is considered to be protective in ways, both to the channeler and the patient receiving a treatment.

CHIOS Energy Field Healing: Is a little different from Reiki as it involves learning how to see and sense the aura and its various energetic conditions and defects. Like Traditional Reiki, it also makes use of symbols and attunements. The course is more than just attunements and requires the completion of assignments and case study type assignments.

Energy Medicine involve working with the System of Meridians within the body while using the Chinese Acupuncture Model. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techique), TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) and other Thought Field Therapies / Energy Psychology come under the heading of Energy Medicine. Such therapies involve no needle work and use tapping or accupressure techniques to stimulate meridians. Most of these therapies are easy to learn to use on oneself as are certain brian balancing and neurological disorganization correction exercises.

Many of the Energy Medicine Therapies make use of something called "Applied Kinesiology", also known as "Muscle Testing". It acts as a form of divination using the body and its energy to receive "yes" and "no" responses as to what the body needs. Mandy has worked as an professional intuitive for many years. However, intuitive work within a healing session is very different from providing a "reading". With intuitive work for use with healing, Mandy's insight is primarily empathic (sensing the energy field) with some clairaudience (hearing words or phrases) and use of divination tools. Muscle Testing (see the Energy Medicine Tab) is also used to detect blocks or what are called "psychological reversals". Sensing the energy field is used for chakra work, clearing of cords and other energy field related imbalances. Dreamwork and dream interpretation can also be used in healing work, either to identify unconscious issues or post sessions to evaluate any shifts.

Intuitive work does not include reading health situations or "medical intuition". While some insights are gained around health related issues, these are more towards balancing and correcting "symptoms" rather than diagnosing conditions. See the Disclaimer for more information.

Astrological readings can also help with healing and growth. Knowing the transits going on and how to work with them can be of great benefit. Kevin Mallory can read very indepth into your astrological chart and he can give a very thorough reporting. Birthdate, place and time are required for more accuracy and depth. Kinesiology, NAET, Energy Medicine, EFT and other modalities can be helpful for locating and/ or clearing food sensitivities and chemical sensitivities. Sometimes, such sensitivities are at the bottom of other emotional or physical conditions or have their roots in other 20th Century type Illnesses.

Steven provides NAET, Applied Kinesiology as well as TimeLine Therapy towards the aleviation of sensitivities. Mandy provides energy medicine tools, self-help resources and therapies like EFT and Kinesiology.

Flower and gem essences are subtle and gentle vibrational medicines which work on the energy body to bring change from the vibrational body out into the manifested body or the personality. They have virtually no side effects and are not the same as herbal tinctures or essential oils.

Essences are wonderful used in conjunction with aromatherapy sprays or for space clearing. They are also great to use for a vibrational boost. There may be a tingling or warming sensation when the right essence has been selected and applied to the right body zone or accupressure point. A recommended book to learn more is Floral Acupuntureby Warren Bellows.

Additionally, flower essences can be used in conjunction with other therapies such as EFT. Ian White, the author and developer of Australian Bush Flower Essences, uses them himself in the treatment of phobias. He suggests that when using flower essences to treat phobias, to do the treatments using the essences Dog Rose, Grey Spider Flower or Emergency Formula (which ever one muscle tests as most applicable).

How Does One Take Flower Essences?

Flower essences are like liquid homeopathics remedies, except none of the actual flower is in the remedy, only its vibration (from letting the flower soak in water and then using that water carrying its vibration to create a mother tincture). You can either take flower essences internally or apply them topically. If internally, either add about 2 - 7 drops to drinking water and sip at intervals or take 2 - 7 drops under the tongue using the dropper. You can also put essences in the bath or in a spray bottle. In a spray bottle, they can be used to mist the body or to uplift a room. Special combinations make good space clearing formulas.

Mandy has found that the Bush Flower Essence remedies tend to work more strongly and give more topical heat (healing) reactions when applied to accupressure points. This may be due to the fact no plants have been raised in greenhouses (which may weaken them) and all samples are taken from the wild. Many Bush Flowers also grow in the desert conditions of Australia making them good for use with conditions where strength, resilience and courage is needed. What Happens During A Session?

Flower Essence selection can be done through phone consultation, chat or email. You may be sent prior to session (or may be completed during the session) a question form. This form will help in essence selection. Selection is then done through muscle testing, intuition and taking into account which area of life you wish to work on become an integral part of the selection process. Usually anywhere from 1 to 5 flowers can be combined. You may then be provided information and/or links for where to purchase the essences locally or on the web and information on how to create your own dosage bottle.

It is also recommended that the client keep a journal of daily happenings and of dreams. It is very valuable in detecting the effects of an essence and even helping in adjusting formulations and selecting new essences to work with.

Love is a strong component in any healing work done. Sometimes there are issues of the heart chakra being blocked to receiving love and such blocks need to be cleared before healing can be successful. EFT can be regularly used in a self-help way to treat some of these blocks through applying the affirmation; "I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself with all my weaknesses and limitation" while tapping the EFT meridian points. After reading The Hidden Messages in Water, by Masuru Emoto which documents how certain words affect molecules of water and their health and structure, Steven began using these ideas and the words "Infinite Love and Gratitude" in his work with success. EFT works on a similar principle by having every issue premised with "Even though I have {the issues}, I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself" working on the idea that directly facing an issue and applying self-love and working with the meridian system is what can help to shift it.
